Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the OpenCFG Limited service ("Service") operated at www.installationcat.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Description of Service

OpenCFG Limited provides a network equipment configuration installation tool that generates device configuration files based on user-specified parameters including device brand, model, and deployment scenario. The Service uses AI-powered automated processing to generate configurations for the target platform.

The Service is provided on a credit-based model. Users purchase credits which are consumed when performing configuration generations.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your account.

4. Credits and Payments

4.1 Credit Purchases

Credits are purchased through our payment processor, Stripe. All prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD). Each configuration generation consumes one (1) credit. Credits are non-transferable between accounts.

4.2 Refund Policy

Purchased credits are generally non-refundable. However, if a generation fails due to a system error (not due to invalid input or unsupported configuration), we will restore the consumed credit to your account. Refund requests for unused credits may be considered on a case-by-case basis within 30 days of purchase.

4.3 Pricing Changes

We reserve the right to modify credit pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect credits already purchased. We will provide reasonable notice of any pricing changes.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Upload malicious files, scripts, or content designed to exploit or damage the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without prior written consent
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without authorisation
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

6. Configuration Files and Data

6.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all configuration files generated through the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process your input parameters solely for the purpose of providing the configuration generation service.

6.2 Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the parameters and data you provide to the Service. You represent that you have the right to use the generated configurations and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights or confidentiality obligations.

6.3 Sensitive Information

We recommend reviewing generated configurations and removing or modifying sensitive credentials (passwords, SNMP community strings, API keys, shared secrets) before deploying to production environments. While we implement security measures to protect your data, you use the Service at your own risk.

7. Service Availability and Accuracy

7.1 No Guarantee of Accuracy

The configurations generated by the Service are provided as a starting point and should be reviewed and validated by a qualified network engineer before deployment to production environments. We do not guarantee that generated configurations will be error-free or fully compatible with your target devices.

7.2 Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by OpenCFG Limited and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OpenCFG Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OpenCFG Limited, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Any unused credits at the time of termination for cause are forfeited.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
